Christophe Meuter

Christophe started his career at Unilever France (Home and Personal Care) in 1988. During his 11 years with Unilever, Christophe held various positions in Sales and Marketing. He was the youngest Key Account manager in charge of a major retailer (Auchan) and one of the first to combine Key Account management experience and senior brand management experience.
In 1999, Christophe joined Kimberly-Clark as Key Account Director to lead the French Key Account teams (branded and private labels businesses) and to manage the global relationship with Promodes. It gave him the opportunity to negotiate the global agreement and the merger with Carrefour. In 2001, he moved to Hong-Kong to lead the Modern Trade teams in Greater China. His key tasks were to change the Modern Trade team organisation and put in place new trading terms. He returned to Europe and to Marketing in 2003 as regional Marketing Manager Huggies for Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe. He led brand building and successful new products launches across the region.
Christophe joined Glendinning Management Consultants in Bangkok in 2005. He is working across Asia to help clients in the Go To Market area and to develop their trade spending, business planning, selling and negotiating skills. He shares with them his global customers’ knowledge and his passion to find solutions to business issues.
During his spare time, Christophe enjoys playing football and family life with his wife and four children.
