Tony Philp
Business Development Director
Tony started his career with the Sterling Winthrup Group and worked his way through various sales functions to the position of Sales and Trade Marketing Director of Sterling Health. He then joined Milupa as Sales Director UK and Ireland following the integration of the Milupa business into Nutrica’s Baby Care Division where he played a key role. Tony was appointed General Manager of Nutricia Healthcare. Tony has developed a broad based background in Sales, Customer Management, People Management, Sales Force Organisation and Design and has over 20 years’ experience at Board and Executive level.
He joined Glendinning in 1997 as Managing Director of Glendinning Direct, the Capability Practice of Glendinning Management Consultants and was responsible for the development of the new business unit. Tony has consultancy capability in all areas of Customer Management Development with specialist skills in Structured Selling, Negotiations, Joint Supplier Working, Benchmarking and Assessment. He has worked across a number of key FMCG, Healthcare, drinks and B2B clients and is recognised for his specialist capability in Healthcare and B2B markets.
Married with three daughters, Tony is a keen golfer, gardener, walker and world traveller.
